Tuesday May 3rd, we will be hosting Tim Arnold of Southridge who will speak about the new "Compassionate City" initiative the city has undertaken, plans for the 80th celebration and golf tournament will be laid out at that meeting. The meeting will be held at the Best Western Hotel and Conference Centre.
Wednesday May 4th, we will be holding a training course at Regional Headquarters. The course is entitled IMPACT and will begin at 6pm. Being an active citizen is core to being a JCI member and IMPACT teaches members how to analyze community needs and ensure they create sustainable solutions and lasting positive change in their community. Members of the community are welcome to participate and can register by contacting the chapter.
The week will conclude Saturday at 1pm with a scavenger hunt in the city relating to the 80 years of history of our chapter.
